Required for all CE and IT products being
purchased by public sector agencies in multiple countries
ISO 7779, ECMA-74 and ISO
9296 are not specifications rather they are industry test
standards. In addition to these specific test methods, we are
able to perform testing in accordance with ISO 3744 and
ISO 3745 for a variety of different devices and products.
Many different nations
require that a product being purchased by the public sector
undergo this type of acoustical testing and reporting. Each
individual country or
label
defines their own acoustical limits for different products
when tested in accordance with these standards.
These standards have differing
parts to their core testing and reporting requirements. The
primary is sound power and the secondary is sound pressure
levels. Having these two different testing methods combined
into one single standard makes ISO 7779 and ECMA-74 quite
unique.
Listed here are but a few of
the different products we are able to test in accordance
with these standards.
